Todd Burgess, 73 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Burgess was born February 28, 1941 in Crocker, MO. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army, having served from 1959-1961. Mr. Burgess was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1966-1982 receiving many medals including- Good Conduct Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship, National Defense Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. He was presently employed by Hunt and worked in maintenance for the past 7 years. Mr. Burgess is preceded in death by his wife-Jackie Burgess, his father and his mother. Mr. Burgess is survived by his daughter- Roxanne Burgess, Hot Springs, AR and Tracey Tucker, Texas; sons- Mike Wiginton, Minnesota and Ron Wiginton, Illinois; grandchildren- Keith Melton, Jr., Kevin Melton and Kayla Melton.
