Harry Osborne Olsen, Jr., 86, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.

A visitation service will be on July 23, 2022, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS at 10:00 AM.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Jason Johnston officiating.  Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS., with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Olsen was born on August 28, 1935, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Harry Osborne Olsen, Sr., and Martha Ogden Olsen.  He served his country for 30 years in the United States Air Force and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Olsen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Flora Mae Malone Olsen; sons – Mark R. (Belinda) Olsen and Gregory D. (Carrie) Olsen; grandchildren – Andrew B ( Jennifer) Olsen, Erin Olsen (Patrick) Pierce, Cameron L. (Katie) Olsen, Colin G. (Katie) Olsen, and Shannon C. Olsen; Great-grandchildren – Braxton Knight, Owen Olsen, Kennedy Pierce, Bennett Olsen, Caroline Pierce, Olivia Olsen, Baylor Olsen, Carter Olsen, Vivienne Pierce; and niece – Annette Malone (Stanley) Weaver

Pallbearers will be Colin Olsen, Andrew Olsen, Cameron Olsen, Louie Alexander, Robbie Greco, and Tyler Webber.
