Haskell Robbins, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, October 21, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2019, from 6-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2 PM at Lowndes Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating. Mr. Robbins will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Robbins was born on October 6, 1938, in Louisville, MS to the late Lillie Green and Fant Robbins. He was a member of Fernbank Baptist Church. Mr. Robbins married the love of his life Martha Lucille on October 10, 1959 at Springhill Baptist Church, Millport, AL. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to the smoky mountains, gardening, and feeding and watching his hummingbirds. Mr. Robbins loved his family and spending time with them. He was a devoted caregiver to his wife of 53 years until her passing in 2013. Mr. Robbins worked as a customer service agent for Northwest Airlines for over 30 years.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Robbins is preceded in death by his wife- Martha Lucille Robbins; brother- E.G. Robbins; daughter-in-law-Nancy Robbins; sisters-in-law- Delaine Robbins, and Helen Robbins.

Mr. Robbins is survived by his sons- Jerry Haskell (Terisa) Robbins of Carrollton, AL and James Michael (Joyce) Robbins of Columbus, MS; grandchild-Kayla (Jason) Junkin of Gordo, AL; sister- JoAnn (Bobby) White of Okeechobee, FL; and brother- Harold Robbins of Okeechobee, FL.

Pallbearers will be Lee Shackelford, Bobby White, David Robbins, Jason Junkin, Chris Peaks, Ricky Ussery, Don Clay, and JT Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Fernbank Baptist Church, Megan Gann and Kindred Home Nurses, Kelley Harris and Baptist Hospice Golden Triangle Staff, Dr. Ana Hilda Bonetti Lugo, MD and Staff, Lifelong co-workers of Southern Airways and Golden Triangle Regional Airport.
