Hazel Marie Gore Hudson, 74, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center- Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Carol Lambert officiating. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Hudson was born February 2, 1948, to the late Fred "Jake" and Lois Williamson Gore in Columbus, MS. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus for many years. Mrs. Hudson worked as a dispatcher at Cable One for over 20 years in Columbus. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband- Alvin Hudson, and sister- Joan Peavy.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her son- Ronny Cooper of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren- Kenny Alan Cooper and Kaitlyn Isabella Cooper; sisters- Virginia Barton Williams, and Judy G. Hanson and brothers- Tommy Gore and Hayes Gore.
