Heather Lynn Scott, 35 of Columbus, MS passed away on January 5, 2022, in Northport, AL.

A visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mitch McWilliams officiating. Masks are greatly appreciated by all those in attendance.

Ms. Scott was born March 28, 1986, in Columbus, MS to Paul Scott and Wanda Leonard.  She previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at HomePlace, Columbus, MS.   Ms. Scott was preceded in death by her grandfathers – Earlie Scott, David Pittman, Curtis Collums, and Burl Wood.

Ms. Scott is survived by her father – Paul (Dione) Scott; mother – Wanda Leonard; daughter – Taylor MacKenzie Scott; son – Tyler Randall Haynes; sisters – Nicole (Adam) Dawson and Ella Alicẽ Lee; grandmothers – Betty Scott and Lucille Pittman; nieces – Briana Dawson and Miana Dawson; and nephew – David Dawson.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family.
