Helen Ruth Danner, 84, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Ethelsville Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Danner was born October 31, 1932, in Pickens County, AL to the late Earlie Jaynes and the late Lucille Wharton Jaynes. She was a member of Assembly of God Columbus, MS. Mrs. Danner loved to sew and she loved her pets. She loved to plant lilies and other flowers and watched them grow. Mrs. Danner enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters- Annie Earl Ponds, and Ora Pearl McDaniel and one brother- Troy Jaynes.

Mrs. Danner is survived by her husband- Joe Robert Danner of Ethelsville, AL; daughters- Linda (William) Brooke of Birmingham, AL and Margaret Ponds of Ethelsville, AL; son- Lee (Donna) Danner of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren- Jacob Danner, Ryann Danner, Jennie (Dewayne) Miller, David (Kelly) Lowery, Patrick Carr and Joseph (Imelda) Carr; great-grandchildren- Gloria Carr, David Miller, Brookann Miller, Hunter Lowery, Houston Lowery, and Heidi Lowery.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Lowery, Dewayne Miller, Joseph Carr, Patrick Carr, and Jacob Danner.

Memorials may be made to charity of donor's choice.
