Helena Marie Heard, 40 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Lynn Galloway officiating.  Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Gattman, MS.

Ms. Heard was born August 28, 1982, in Amory, MS to Doris Robert Edwards and the late Glenn Savage.  She worked for several years as an Assembly Line Worker.  Ms. Heard loved music and singing.  She had a hearty laugh and didn't meet a stranger.  She loved everyone.

Ms. Heard is survived by her mother – Doris Roberts Edwards; daughter – Kaylee Ann Marie Edwards; son – Kody Hacker; brother – Christopher Edwards, Cory Edwards, Wesley Meisenholder, Kristopher Meisenholder, and Daniel Meisenholder; sister – Kaylin Wilson and father – Jimmy Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Edwards, Cory Edwards, Wesley Meisenholder, Kristopher Meisenholder, Daniel Meisenholder, and Jonathan Alexander.
