Carrie Lynn "Honey" Nolan Johnston, 92, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Trinity Place Personal Care, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Johnston was born March 27, 1924, to the late Leonard and Carrie Louise Clarke Nolan in Silver City, MS. She graduated from Bay High School, Bay St. Louis, MS, Class of 1941. Mrs. Johnston was employed as a Holiday Inn Receptionist in Starkville, MS, Medical Records Secretary at the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, and the Matriarch of the Music Makers Productions at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Dr. Gordon Johnston, III; daughter-Jan O'Neal; son-Richard Madden; and sister-Elizabeth Nolan.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by her daughter-Melanie Madden Pharo, Columbus, MS; grandchildren-Leslie Lynn Byler, Robin Elizabeth Byler, David Michael Pharo; and great-grandchild-Claudie Lynn Byler.
