Howard Kelly Bradshaw, 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his residence. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Bradshaw was born December 10, 1934 in Montgomery, AL to the late McRey and Maude Adams Bradshaw and moved to Columbus 50 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, the Columbus Masonic Lodge No. 5 F&AM, The Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies and a Shriner. He was a self-employed ceramic tile installer for 10 years and attended Auburn University. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bradshaw is preceded in death by his wife - Brenda Perkins Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his sons - Steven Edward "Ed" Bradshaw Freeland, Columbus, MS and Howard Kelly Bradshaw, Jr. Freeland, Huntsville, AL; granddaughter - Courtney Lynn Freeland and grandson - Steven Matthew Freeland. Pallbearers will be Tony Bullard, Bill Kidd, John Mason, Mike Lamb, Terry Lile and J.T. Lewis. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
