Howard Everett Hughes, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at MS State Veterans' Home-Kosciusko, MS.

Mr. Hughes was born on October 22, 1939, in Columbus, MS to the late Clarice Ida Westbrooks Hughes and Charles Greshen Hughes. He served in the United States Navy, then went on to sell tires for Yokohoma. Mr. Hughes then became self-employed and was a cabinet maker. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his wife- Francis Blasingame Hughes, and son- Charles Owen Hughes.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife- Virginia Forrester Hughes.
