Howard Jacob Wolfe, 75 of Macon, MS passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. A private visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2014 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL with Bro. Tony Tilley officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Wolfe was born November 28, 1938 in Fremont, NE to the late Parker Brooke and Thelma Inez McLaughlin Wolfe. He was a U. S. Army veteran and worked for the National Guard as Officer in Charge for twenty-three years. Mr. Wolfe was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister-Ellen Marie Wolfe Pfister; brothers- Hamilton Frank Wolfe, Robert Wayne Wolfe and Milan Dale Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe is survived by his wife of 33 years-Susan Albright Wolfe, Macon, MS; children-Brett Alan Wolfe-Midway, TX, Angela Lynn Wolfe(Kevin Scott) Vanderploeg, Sherrard, IL and Robert Wayne Wolfe II, Cleveland, TX ; brothers- Paul Revere Wolfe, Mesquite, TX and David Lee Wolfe; sisters- Kathleen Ann Wolfe Brinko and Linda Lou Wolfe (Richard) Estes, Pace, FL; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
