Hubert "Bert" Lamar Watson, II, 46, of West Point, MS passed away Tuesday March 22, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Service arrangements will be announced and officiated by the family.

Mr. Watson was born February 26, 1976 in Monroe County, MS to Hubert Lamar Watson and Judy Aldridge Watson.  He was a tax accountant with Dixon Hughes ad Goodman, LLC and was an avid fan of all things MSU (Hail State!)  Mr. Watson enjoyed boating, golfing and fishing, as well as playing guitar, shooting pool and tailgating with good friends.  Brain teasers, puzzles and Trivial Pursuit were some of his favorite pass-times.

Mr. Watson is survived by his mother – Judy Aldridge Watson, of West Point; father – Hubert Lamar Watson; sisters – Holly Creel, Birmingham, AL and Rebecca (Jeff) Rutherford, Starkville, MS; nephews – Nick Blackmon, Caleb Blackmon and Justin Blackmon.
