Hughdolph Guin, Jr., 69, passed away on Thursday, February 07, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. Visitation will be held Sunday February 10, 2019 from 5-7pm at Lowndes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30am on Monday, February 11, 2019 from Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, February 11, 2019 from Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery near Philadelphia, MS, with Bro Kenny Gardner officiating.

Mr. Guin was born June 27, 1949 in Natchez, MS, to the late Ellen Earl Warren and Hughdolph Guin, Sr. He served his country with the US Army National Guard. He was retired from the City of Columbus where he served as an Electrical Inspector for over 30 years. A Baptist by faith, he attended First Baptist Church of Columbus. He was also a member of the American Legion and a 32 ^nd Degree Mason.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Guin is preceded in death by one daughter Kim Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Elvie Guin; Children: Amy (Chip) Lemonds, Jeff (Donna) Wilson and Charlie (Kristie) Wilson; Siblings: Dr. Linda Guin and Warren (Mary) Guin; sister in law Shelby (Timmy) Flye) Grandchildren: Kaitlin Lemonds, Allison (Brandon) Shaw, Jimmy Springfield, Garrett (Whitney) Wilson, Charlie Wilson, Collin Wilson and Macy Wilson; Great Grandchildren: Marissa Springfield and Davis Hood and one Niece: Paige (Cody) Guthrie.
