Ivette N Hernandez, 76, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her residence.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 9:30 AM at Columbus Air Force Base.

Mrs. Hernandez was born April 28, 1945, in Arecibo to the late Alcadia Gonzalez and Agustin Hernandez. She was a volunteer at the Colegio Evangelico Capiton Correa Cafeteria for 10 years and then became the Cafeteria Adiministator serving for the next 20 years. Mrs. Hernandez was an active member of the Methodist Church "El Calvario" Arecibo, Puerto Rico for 40 years.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband of 50 years- Jose Serrano Correa of Columbus, MS; daughter-Waleska (Carlos) Serrano of Columbus, MS; son- Jose (Nora Valcourt) Serrano ; grandchildren-Jesus, Emilio, Angelica, Evan, Sofia, Ethan, Mia Camila, and Albertito; brother- Agustin; sisters-Leticia, Carmin, Elsa, and Aixa.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzhimers Association 855 S. Pear Orchard Rd. Ridgeland, MS 39157.
