Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Graveside Services will be at 1:30 PM in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Inmon was born September 29, 1936, to the late John Douglas and Mabeline "Mabel" Herndon Inmon in Pontotoc County, MS. He moved to the area from Memphis, TN in 1969 and has lived here ever since. Mr. Inmon owned J & M Barbeque, Columbus, MS for over 30 years and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. He enjoyed fishing and working on and restoring cars. In addition to his parents, Mr. Inmon was preceded in death by his wife-Madrin Presley Inmon; daughter-Sherry Holliman; and grandchild-Heather Rutledge.

Mr. Inmon is survived by his sons-John (Linda) Inmon, Jr., Columbus, MS; Jimmy (Kathy) Inmon, West Point, MS; and Jeff (Amanda) Inmon, Caledonia, MS; daughter-Delores (Steve) Westbrook, Columbus, MS; son-in-law-Darwin Holliman; brother-David (Nancy) Inmon sister-in-law-Diane Hathcock; grandchildren-Christi (Patton) Whitten, Lori (Brian) Windle, Dusty Holliman, Leigh Ann (Ward) Cobb, Jessica (David) Hill, Sarah Inmon, Laura Westbrook, Curtis Winfrey, Jenna McConaha, Tyler Geer; great-13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Darwin Holliman, Ward Cobb, Dusty Holliman, Brian Windle, Eddie Heir, West Holley, Landon Neyman, and Presley Neyman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bart Inmon, Todd Inmon, Patton Whiten, Old Men's Sunday School Class, and Former Employees of J & M Barbecue. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Vineyard Court Nursing Center.
