Waymon Pratt "Jack" Price, 86, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at his residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Interment will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Reform, Alabama with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Jack was born on September 30, 1937, in McShan, Alabama, to the late Emitt Price and Mary Edna Hollinger Price. Jack was a welder at Glenn Machine Works for 33 years and retired in 1999. He also worked as a mechanic and helped anyone he could. When he wasn't working, he loved bass fishing. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife – Minnie Laverne Price; numerous brothers and sisters; and daughter- Tina Marie Price.

Jack is survived by his daughter- Pamela (Richard) Bohon; grandchildren- Tiffany (John) Davidson, and Savannah (Matt) Perkins; great-grandchildren- Mima Perkins, Merritt Perkins, and Magnolia Davidson.

Pallbearers will be Jason Price, Cody Owens, Matthew Perkins, John Patrick Davidson, Wade Hampton, and Michael Wyers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Abrams, Paul Atkins, and Tuscaloosa VA Community Care Team.
