Jackie Lowry Harper, 84, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at her residence.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.

Jackie Lowry Harper was the second daughter born to Mable B. Shirley and Jack Lowry in Memphis, TN in 1933. She attended Whitehaven High School in Memphis, TN. and College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. She was married to James Donald Harper, Sr. for over 60 years and they married in Byhalia, MS. In 1975 she became a real estate broker, forming her own company in Los Alamos, New Mexico through the 1980's for 10 years. She and her husband Don retired to Columbus, MS. in 1986.

Jackie is survived by her 3 children, James D. (Lois) Harper, Jr. of Huntsville, AL., Vicki Harper of Columbus, MS., and Deborah (John) Williams of Monument, Co., 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
