James Brannon Mason, 48 of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at his residence.

Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rufus Mason officiating.  Interment will be at Lone Oak Cemetery, Steens, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Mason was born June 10, 1973, to James Howard Mason and Debra Kay Mason in Columbus, MS.  He worked as a courier for FedEx for 6 years.  Mr. Mason also worked 20 years with Baldor Electric.  He was an Alabama football fan, enjoyed drag racing, singing, and karaoke.  He loved his dogs and animals but especially loved spending time with his girls.

Mr. Mason is survived by his parents – James Howard Mason and Debra Kay Mason;  5 daughters – Alexis Mackenzie Mason, Madelyn Brooke Mason, Rymzi Jaymz Mason, Paisley Ranae Mason, and Morgan Brooke Beasley; son – Landon McKinley Beasley, sisters – Tansley Meshae Mason and Kindyle Lindsey Mason; and niece Adiah Hadley Mason, Mothers to his children - Melissa Duke, and Nikki Beasley.

Pallbearers will be Landon Beasley, Elijah Perrigin, Keith Driver, Tim Mason, Josh O'Callaghan, and Wes Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be cousins, Jeffrey McRae, Gregory McRae, Mark McRae, Heath Harcrow, Harold Harcrow, Doug Harcrow, Glenn Cooper, Thomas Vaughn, Kenneth Mason, Jamie Baucom, and John Fowler.
