James Danial "Danny" Madison, 71, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Victory Tabernacle Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Granville Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Madison was born on October 25, 1949, in Charleston County, SC to the late Robert Doyle Madison, Sr. and Helen Forrester Madison. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church and loved to read his Bible. Mr. Madison served in the United States Army and he owned the Royal Carpet service. He enjoyed telling jokes, and spending time with others especially his family, and always told others to "Keep Jesus First". In addition to his parents, Mr. Madison is preceded in death by his brother-in-law-Ray McDill; and sister-in-law Jeweline (Bud) Holman.

Mr. Madison is survived by his wife- Christine McDill Madison of Columbus, MS; daughters- Kimberly Price, Tiffney Madison, and Stacy Garner; grandchildren- Christi Rush, Randah (Austin) Richardson, Brooke (Caleb) Davis, Brittany (Trevor) Burns, Brandon Alexander, and Madison Blackwell; great-grandchildren- Skyler Adkins, Landyn Richardson, Easton Richardson, Maxton Richardson, Wyatt Davis, and Adilynn Childress; brothers- Robert (Faye) Madison, Jr., and Terrence (Cheryl) Madison; sister-in-laws- Laine (Joe) Wilson, and Jackie Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Troy Kirkley, Mark Chain, Jeffery Hall, Brandon Alexander, Austin Richardson, and Jamie Stokes. Honorary pallbearers will be past and present Men of Victory Tabernacle, Dr. John King, Dr. Boswell, Dr. Tofts, staff of Kindred Home Health and Hospice, and staff of Chris's Pharmacy.
