James Edward Richardson, 85, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Richardson was born September 16, 1934, in Columbus, MS to the late Ruby Belle Trever and John D. Richardson. He was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle. Mr. Richardson owned Richardson's Curb Market on 4 ^th Street South for many years and was a driver for Alabama Carrier for 38 years. He loved his dog- Chloe. Mr. Richardson loved and supported President Donald J. Trump and would have loved to vote for him again. In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Richardson.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his son- Larry Richardson; daughter- Kathy Forrester; step-daughter- Linda Rayner; grandchildren-Summer Owens, Brittany Richardson, Dalton Forrester, Carson Forrester, and Lexie Rayner; great-grandchildren- Dylon Mason, and Breanna White; great-great-grandchildren-Declan Forrester, Kylie Dennison, and Arua Rayner; sister- Charlene Brownlee and sister-in-law- Jackie Wright.

Pallbearers will be Carson Forrester, Dalton Forrester, Randy Owens, Kevin Dees, Garrett Dees, and Dylon Mason.
