James Franklin Williams, 86, of Starkville, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Starkville, MS. Service will be Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Starkville, MS.

Mr. Williams was born May 21, 1938, in Clarke County, Mississippi, to the late Ruby Denham Williams and James Edward Williams. He was the owner of El Camino Mobile Home Sales. Mr. Williams was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was an Alumni of MS State University. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife – Virginia Pogue Williams; daughter- Mary Pankey; grandson- Paul Pankey; grandson and wife- Josh Pankey (Jen); great grands- Debra Joyce, and Jace Hunter Pankey; son- Frank Williams (Leigh Ann); grandson – Matthew (Amanda) Williams; great grand- Elizabeth Williams; granddaughter- Ludmila Williams, great grands- Lincoln and Keller Williams; granddaughter- Alexandra Williams; grandson- Brandon Williams; daughter- Reatha (Dean) Fielder; granddaughter- Allison (Sam) Crowson; great grands- Bradley and Chance Crowson; granddaughter- Terri (Frank) Gentry, and Mary Holliman (Jacob); great grands- Aurora Belle and Rivers; son – John E. Williams (Angie) and granddaughter- Neysa.
