Jamye Henderson McGregor, 88, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.

A visitation is scheduled for 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel.  The interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc, MS.

Jamye was born on November 2, 1934, to the late Evelyn and Judson Henderson, in Pontotoc, MS.  She was a very generous person who loved her family and friends, and was always caring for everyone.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Don Curtis.

Mrs. McGregor is survived by her daughters – Sonja (Dee) Harris, and Sherry (Tom McKessy) McGregor; sons – Scott (Teresa) McGregor, and Shane (Shannon) McGregor; grandchildren – Amber (Andrew) Long, Afton (Preston) Rushing, Bridget (Lucas Harris) Shaw, Sarah (Matt) Eaves, Luke (Jennifer) Cooper, Scott ( Ellen) Cooper, Mary Jane McGregor, Kaden McGregor, Eliza McGregor, Millie McGregor, Tabatha McGregor, Billy McKessy, Ryan McKessy; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
