Jane Cleo Phillips, 82 of Tupelo, MS passed away Monday, March 26, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Phillips was born May 23, 1932 to the late Wilmer and Florence Osborn Jackson in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Phillips loved to sew. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband - Norman W. Phillips in 1989 and Nina Phillips, Norma Gonzalez, Florence Phillips, Sylvia Phillips, Sara Phillips, Mary Phillips and Marie Phillips. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter - Beverly Alexander, Belzoni, MS, 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren Pallbearers will be Johnny Bishop, Jr., Joey Bishop, Jonathan Doss, Stephen Flood, Sam Mitchem, Dorina Moctezuma. Honorary pallbearers will be CCU staff of NMMC - Tupelo, MS, Norman Bishop, Brandon Allred, Danny Burns, Sr., and a host of family and friends.
