Dolores Jane Tilley, 78, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Sarah Windham officiating. Interment will be in Ethelsville Baptist Church Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL  with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Tilley was born September 16, 1938, to the late George Arthur and Edna Mae Arendale Sanders in Crowder, MS.  She worked as a shipping clerk for American Trouser for 20 years and attended New Hope Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-Myron Eads and 9 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Tilley is survived by her husband-Ottis Tilley, Ethelsville, AL; daughters-Jennifer (Bud Lowe) Snider, Columbus, MS; Angie (Mike) Boutwell, Columbus, MS; and Pam (Jim) Painter, Columbus, MS; stepsons-Gerald (Rita) Tilley and Charles (Connie) Tilley; grandchildren-Forrest (Megan) Boutwell, Dallas (Dayleigh) Boutwell, Dusty Snider, Allie Lowe, Whittney (Jonathan) Youngblood, Kelly Johnston, Jessie (Hailey) Painter, Justin Painter, Sydney (Tirell) Colister, Keith (Kristan) Painter, Josh (Meghan) Tilley, Jacob (Jordan) Tilley, Leigh (Colby) Watkins, Rachel (Phillip) Tilley, Brittany (Cody) Arnold,  Amy (Louis) Sharp; Laura (Ryan) Newman; 24 great-grandchildren; and sister-Sherry (Jim) Hetherington.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Boutwell, Dusty Snider, Josh Tilley, Forrest Boutwell, Jessie Painter, Keith Painter, and Jacob Tilley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Tilley's great-grandchildren.
