Janet Herndon, 86, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Graveside Service will be Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 3:30 P.M. at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Herndon was born May 17, 1938, in Aliceville, Alabama, to the late Clayton T. White and Mildred Tramell White.
