Janice Brooks, 47, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at Trinity Healthcare in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.Service will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Lowndes Funeral entrusted with all arrangements.

Ms. Janice Brooks was born March 30, 1978, in Columbus, MS, to Christine White Lovelace and the late Charlie Brooks. She was a dedicated nurse for around 20 years at Trinity Healthcare and Dugan in Columbus. Ms. Brooks was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Ms. Brooks is survived by her daughter- Jordan Demba; son- Bryce Brooks; mother- Christine White Lovelace; siblings- Gwen (Dwight) King, Aaron Williams, Sylvia Graham, Felicia White, Charles White, and Chaddy Brooks; cousin- Renita Williams; special friend- Ron O'Neal; dear friend and co worker- Cassandra Neal; and a host of other family and friends.
