Janice McGaugh Warren, 69, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Sammy Crawford officiating and Bro. Tommy Gillon assisting. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, West Point, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Warren was born July 12, 1947, to the late Thomas Alvin McGaugh, Jr. and Elizabeth Walker McGaugh in Columbus, MS. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS, and a bookkeeper for Rhett Real Estate in Columbus for 23 years. Mrs. Warren was a 1965 graduate of S.D. Lee High School and she earned a Bachelor's degree of Arts from MUW, Columbus, MS. She loved and enjoyed art and she was a diehard Mississippi State Bulldog fan. Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Alvin McGaugh, Jr. and Elizabeth Walker McGaugh.

Mrs. Warren is survived by her husband- Doug Warren, Columbus, MS; daughter- Kelly (Chris) Ray, Columbus, MS; son- Cam Bailey, Columbus, MS; step-daughter- Laura (Paul) Miller, Tyler, TX; step-son- David Warren, Little Rock, AR; grandchildren- Ashleigh, Robert, Hayleigh, Killian, Christopher, Jonathan, and Meagan.

Pallbearers will be Harold King, Wythe Rhett, Robert Rhett, Dwight Phillips, Robert Wilson, and Paul Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be S.D. Lee High School Class of 1965 and Becky Anderson Sunday School Class of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.
