Janie Adams Gilliam Haden, 77, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Brown officiating. Interment will be at Salem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordo, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Haden was born March 12, 1938 to the late Willard T. Adams and Allah M. O'Bryant Adams in Gordo, AL. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. In her leisure time, she loved quilting and cooking; and she had a passion for gardening. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Bobbie S. Haden; her brother-Jerry W. Adams; and sister-Billie Adams Gilliam. She is survived by her daughter-Lisa Gilliam, Columbus, MS; sisters-Sandra Adams (Wayne) Studyvin, Birmingham, AL and Mary Adams (Dale) Davis, Gordo, AL; and several nieces and nephews; 2 maternal aunts-Erma Burroughs, Buhl, AL and Ruby Brown, Prattville, AL. Pallbearers will be Joe Gilliam, Jeff Gilliam, James Gilliam, Terry Ferguson, Robert Adams, and Wayne Studyvin. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
