J.C. Linn, 65 of Caledonia, MS passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mr. Linn will be Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Linn was born January 4, 1948 to Audrene Vail Linn and the late Robert Linn in Columbus, MS. He lived in Lowndes County his entire life. In addition to his father, Mr. Linn was preceded in death by his sister – Josephine Linn. Mr. Linn is survived by his mother – Audrene Vail Linn, Caledonia, MS, sister – Shirley Linn (Bobby) Bowen, Columbus, MS, Nephews – Robert B. (Tamara) Jacobs, Caledonia, MS, Gary L. (Phyllis) Jacobs, Jr., Caledonia, MS, Niece – Amy Audrene Wyers, Columbus, MS and a number of great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robert B. Jacobs, Robert L. Jacobs, Montana Jacobs, Gary L. Jacobs, Jr., Nathan Wheeler and Harold Wayne Partain. Honorary Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
