Jean Stallings, 92, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Trinity Health Care, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church,  Columbus, MS. Service will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, with Dr. Bill Hurt and Bro. David Honeycutt officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Stallings was born February 22, 1931, in Carrolton, Alabama to the late Ada Harless Wright and Robert Wright. Mrs. Stallings worked as a receptionist for many years. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Stallings enjoyed crocheting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stallings is preceded in death by her husband- Robert E. Stallings; brothers- Grover Wright and Odell Wright; sister- Edith Wharton.

Mrs. Stallings is survived by her daughters- Dale (W.L) Godfrey and Janet Crume; sons- Mike Stallings and Robbie (Joyce) Stallings; grandchildren- Casey Henson, Robert (Jamie) Henson, Chris (B.B.) Godfrey, and Taylor (Brandon) Jennings; great-grandchildren- Fisher Godfrey, Lakelyn Godfrey, Bailey Jennings, Madeline Jennings, Amber Henson, Felecia (Ben) Kelly, Chloe Henson, Cadyn Henson, and Catelyn Henson; great-great-grandchild- Rylan Henson.

Pallbearers will be Joe Clarke, Barry Honeycutt, David Honeycutt, Mickey McKenzie, Ricky Pounders, and Jimmy Wilkinson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ladies 2 Life Group at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
