Jean Wesson Jean Wesson, 70 of Lithia, FL formerly of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence. Visitation will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2 PM at Caledonia United Pentecostal Church, Caledonia, MS with Bro. Grant Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery, Steens, MS; Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Wesson was born April 22, 1941 in Columbus, MS to the late James E. and Sadie May Green Reese. She retired in 1999 from Penny Ridge Grocery as a salesclerk with 14 years of service. Mrs. Wesson was an avid University of Alabama football fan, NASCAR fan, enjoyed working crossword puzzles with a pen and bragging about her granddaughter, Samantha. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Donald "Duck" Reese. Mrs. Wesson is survived by her daughter, Michele (David) Fidelman, Lithia, FL; brother, Roger Dale (Susan) Reese, Caledonia, MS; sister, Toby Lynn (Jimmy) Dunn, Cottondale, AL and granddaughter, Samantha Fidelman. Pallbearers will be Shane Reese, William Wooten, Johnny Wooten, Jarred Reese and Jamie Reese. Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Fromm.
