Jennifer Gilliam East, 37, of Columbus, MS passed away at Gilmore Memorial Medical Center, Amory, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM March 8, 2016, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Tim Lee officiating and Bro. Kenny Gardner assisting in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. East was born to Vester and Harriet Riley Gilliam in Columbus, MS on April 1, 1978. She was a Reimbursement Specialist for Briova RX in Columbus, where she worked since January 2009. Mrs. East was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she loved teaching the 2 and 3-year-old Sunday school classes. Mrs. East enjoyed crafts, was always smiling, was a very loving and caring person—she never met a stranger. Most of all she was a loving mother, wife and daughter. Mrs. East is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Sandra East.

She is survived by her husband-Jason East, Columbus, MS; son-Brayden Alexander East; step-daughter-Kayla Nicole East; mother-Harriet Riley Gilliam, Columbus, MS; father-Vester Gilliam, Columbus, MS; brother-Alex (Dee Dee) Gilliam, Gulfport, MS; father-in-law-Ron East, Caledonia, MS; sisters-in-law-Meredith East; Caledonia, MS and  Toni (Shane) Knight, Hatley, MS.
