Jimmy Dale Autry, 68 of Amory, MS passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital, Amory, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. John W. Autry officiating. Interment will be in Living Faith Tabernacle, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Autry was born November 28, 1944 in Okolona, MS to the late J.T. and Mary Pauline White Autry. He was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. Autry worked for Electric Motors, Buford Electric and Bubba Comer in electric motor repair for over 35 years. He loved fish and animals. Mr. Autry was a gifted craftsman and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. Mr. Autry is survived by son- Chris (Diane) Autry, Columbus, MS, brother – John W. (Mary F. ) Autry, Carbon Hill, AL and granddaughters – Heather R. Autry and Holley A. Autry. Pallbearers will be Don Smith, Allen Jenkins, John Clark, Joel Gray, John DiCicco, Richard Autry and Colton Autry. Honorary pallbearers will be ICU Staff at Gilmore Memorial Hospital, Staff at Golden Living Nursing Care, Amory, MS, Former and Current EE's of Buford Electric.
