Jimmy Dale Dillard, 75, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Weeks officiating.

Mr. Dillard was born September 28, 1942, in Winfield, AL to the late Rayburn and Beatrice Ballard Dillard. He was owner/operator of Dillard Machine Services for 26 years. Mr. Dillard loved his family very much and lived his life to the fullest. He loved to work, enjoyed fishing, and liked to go to the races.

Mr. Dillard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years- Linda Dozier Dillard of Columbus, MS; sons- Greg (Stephanie) Dillard of Columbus, MS and Brian (Jennifer) Dillard of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Jeremy Dillard, Blake (Dawn) Dillard, Keys (Cade) Kizer, Greyson Dillard, and Brooklyn Dillard; great-grandchildren- Gauge Dillard, Layna Dillard, and Marley Dillard; one sister- Nelda (Ken) Barnwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dillard, Blake Dillard, Greyson Dillard, Cade Kizer, Dwight Wheat, Mike Frederick, Blue McDonald, Donny Hollingsworth, and Rick Dozier. Honorary pallbearers will be Nephews, Employees of Dillard Machine Services, John Goode, Sonny Cole, Mike Smith, Wayne Smith, Chris White, James Lenard, Ron Stokes, Rex Stokes, and Richard Bryant.
