Jimmy Jones, age 70, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at his residence.

In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Jones, there will be no funeral service held. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Jones was born on May 4, 1947, in Mississippi to the late Roy Littleton and Robbie Lee Gallop Jones.  He was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church, Caledonia, MS. Mr. Jones loved to go hunting and fishing. He worked as a set-up man for United Technologies for 35 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister- Peggy Walters Fondren.

Mr. Jones was survived by his wife of 51 years- Linda Shaw Jones of Caledonia, MS; daughter- Jennifer Paige Jones of Columbus, MS; son- James Brian (Gretchen) Jones of Hernando, MS; and grandson- Jacob Bryant Jones.
