Jimmy Allen Knight, 71, of Columbus, MS passed away after a long illness Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Windsor Place in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Knight didn't want a service but wanted to be cremated and to scatter his ashes on the interstates and truck stops he spent most of his time at. No services are scheduled at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Knight was born October 21, 1951, in Houma, LA, to the late John Frederick Knight and the late Martha Brazeale Brown. Mr. Knight lived in Lakeland, Florida for many years and drove a truck. He had a huge heart and hilarious humor that will be missed by so many.  He was a vivid Alabama Crimson Tide fan to the end.  Mr. Knight loved everyone and everyone that knew him loved him too. Mr. Knight is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather – James A. Brown, sister- Carol Skains, brother-in-law- Gerald Jones, and grandmother – Ida Brazeale.

Mr. Knight is survived by his brothers- James (Judy) Smith, Joe (Nelda) Brazeale, and Ricky (Kathy) Knight; sister- Sharon Jones; two daughters, one son, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Knight had a host of nieces, nephews, and their families that adored their Uncle Jimmy.
