Jo "Faye" Hutcheson, 94, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Hutcheson was born May 1, 1930, in Nettleton, MS to the late Hattie Berryhill Payne and Jessie Payne. She was a charter member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Hutcheson taught the 5-year-old kids in Sunday school for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved seeing the babies. Mrs. Hutcheson was an avid Ole Miss Rebel sports fan and especially loved watching football. She loved fishing and enjoyed taking care of her dog, Rebel. Mrs. Hutcheson also loved to travel and take motorcycle trips.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutcheson is preceded in death by her husband – William Hutcheson, Sr., grandchild- Kelly Hill; 5 sisters, and 1 brother.

Mrs. Hutcheson is survived by her daughters- Brenda (Jim) Hancox, and Cindra (Jimmy) Henson; son- WV (Martha) Hutcheson, Jr.; grandchildren- Ben (Alicia) Duncan, Jenny (Jeff) Edmondson, Jess (Becky) Hutcheson, Beth (Josh) Keeton, Susan Leigh (Gary) Hayes,Rick (Lori) Burson, and Kevin (Gina) Burson,  19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister- Lesa White (Richard) Holcom.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ben Duncan, Grant Duncan, Garrett Duncan, Jeff Edmondson, Brandon Edmondson, Jess Hutcheson, Mark Hutcheson, Josh Keeton, T.J. Martin, Rick Burson, Kevin Burson; also, Regina Sullivan, Lauren Vowell, Hollie O'Brein Stobaugh, and Katherine Walden, who were her loving caregivers, and Candace and Jeanene "Jolene" of Baptist Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in her honor.
