Joan Reeves McCullough, 85, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Mark Frady and James Nevins officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Columbus, MS, with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. McCullough, was born November 11, 1938, in Stration, MS, to the late J.D. Reeves and Lillie Mae Gardner Reeves. Mrs. McCullough was a member of Magnolia Church of Christ. She worked in accounting for 24 years and had worked at J.C. Penny. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCullough is preceded in death by her husband- Hildon "Mac" McCullough; daughter- Cindy Dodson; brothers- Alton Reeves, and Jerry Reeves; and sister- Helen Ruffin.

Mrs. McCullough is survived by her son- Mitchell (Jenn) McCullough, son-in-law- Rick Dodson; grandchildren- Shay (Heather) Dodson, Mae Hatter, Reese McCullough, and Raegan McCullough; great-grandchildren- Austin (Mary Grace) Dodson, Isla Brown, and Hayden Dodson; great-great-grandchild- Briar Dodson; and sister – Pam Wright.

Pallbearers will be – Will Teague, Shay Dodson, Austin Dodson, Hayden Dodson, Rick Dodson, Richard Christopher III, and Richard Christopher IV. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dave May, Mississippi Home Care, Baptist Hospice, Denise Sanders, Annie Rush, Janet Williams, Teresa Aqlan, and Members of Magnolia Church of Christ.
