Jody Dale Hankins, 51, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

Visitation will be Friday, August 6, 2021, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jammie Turner officiating and visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Mr. Hankins was born March 9, 1970, in Columbus, MS to Linda Thomasson Clardy and the late Glenn Brooks Hankins. He worked at Nouryon as a Chief Tech for many years and was the owner and operator of Badd Dog, LLC. Mr. Hankins enjoyed boating, fishing and loved his family and friends.

Mr. Hankins is preceded in death by his father- Glenn Brooks Hankins; and his sister- Buffy Kay Hankins.

Mr. Hankins is survived by his daughter- Kaelyn Hankins; son- Tyler Hankins; mother- Linda Thomasson Clardy; and Fiancee- Kellie Bishop.

Pallbearers will be Steve Pyle, Chris White, Steve Rhoades, Clay Shane, James Atkins, and Mike Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Moore, Greg Gammill, Jeff Pyle, Tony Lybrand, Shawn Burmaster, Allen Gibson, John Kissner, Charles Weldon, Clint Stokes, Paul Cruthirds, Chad Weldon, Drew Bishop, and Brandon Bishop.
