Joe Robert Danner, 89, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS

Graveside service will be Friday, October 30, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Ethelsville Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Danner was born April 20, 1931, in Kemper County, MS to the late Christine Watt Danner and Joe Getzen Danner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Danner is preceded in death by his wife- Helen Ruth Jaynes Danner. He retired from the United States Air Force as a TSGT after 20 years.  Mr. Danner worked for propane gas companies for many years following his retirement from the Air Force.

Mr. Danner is survived by his daughters- Linda (William) Brooke of Birmingham, AL and Margaret Ponds of Ethelsville, AL; son- Lee (Donna) Danner of Coker, AL; grandchildren- Jacob Danner, Ryann Danner, Jennie (Dewayne) Miller, David (Kelly) Lowery, Joseph Carr, and Patrick Carr; great-grandchildren- Gloria Carr, David Miller, Brookann Miller, Hunter Lowery, Houston Lowery, and Heidi Lowery.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Lowery, Dewayne Miller, Joseph Carr, Patrick Carr, Jacob Danner, David Miller, Hunter Lowery, and Houston Lowery.

Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
