Bobby Joe Weeks, 75, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2016, with Bro. Ed Nix officiating and Mr. Randy Weeks assisting at New Covenant Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Weeks was born June 19, 1941, to the late Fannie Vickery and Olan Weeks in Winfield, AL. He was a sheet metal mechanic for over 20 years by trade and was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers-Benny Weeks, James Weeks, and Harry Weeks; and sister-Olene Harris.

Mr. Weeks is survived by his sons-Wyatt (Leslie) Weeks, Winfield, AL  and Guy (Kelly) Weeks, Bessemer, AL; daughter-Kim Williamson, Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren-Taylor Weeks, Kasey (Daniel) Baker, Britney Flanagan, Holly (Nick) Richardson; sisters-Nell Mayfield, Katherine Forsythe, Martha Legg, Alma Cantrell; companion-Kathy Caldwell; and mothers to his children-Peggy Weeks and Joyce Hubbard.
