John Paul Langowski, 76 of Steens, MS passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2013 from 1-2 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shelby Hazard officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Langowski was born June 21, 1936 in Worcester, MA to the late Paul and Rosita Kaczmarczyk Langowski. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, yard work, tinkering and RVing. Mr. Langowski was employed as a milkman for Gibson's Dairy in Worcester, MA prior to being a Ballroom Dance Instructor for 15 years. Mr. Langowski is survived by his wife-Arlene Marie Desruisseau Langowski, Steens, MS, sons- Mike (Donna) Janczyk, Grenada, MS, John Langowski, Jr. , Salem, OR, Paul Langowski, R.I., Jay Ward, Stratham, NH, daughter- Jill Capuano, Worcester, MA, sister- Marion Stinsfield, Worcester, MA, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Men of Woodland Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Pennington, Kevin Braddock, and his Bowling League Friends.
