John Adam Wright, age 41, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Wright was born on July 25, 1977, in Big Spring, TX to Marcia Dement Wright and the late Thomas Paul Wright. He was a 1995 graduate from Heritage Academy, Columbus, MS. Mr. Wright's father was a Vietnam Veteran. In addition to his father, Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents- Bobby and Melba Dement and his paternal grandparents- Jerome and Elizabeth Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by his mother- Marcia Dement Wright of Columbus, MS; sisters- Alethea Arnold and Jessica Persat both of San Antonio, TX; step-mother- Deborah Wright of Pleasanton, TX; aunts- Dana (George) Boyer of Wewahitchka, FL, Bobby (Sammy) Simpson of Georgetown, TX, and Katherine (Ado) Polanski of Jourdanton, TX; uncles- John (Nikki) Dement of Marshal, TX and Jimmy (Pat) Wright of Pleasanton, TX; a host of cousins; and his special friend- Roger Murray.
