Captain Jonathon William Fornoff, 27, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Josh Stevens officiating.

Captain Fornoff was born January 26, 1996, to Gregory Fornoff and Patricia Stoltzman Fornoff in Illinois. He served in the United States Air Force as a pilot. Captain Fornoff loved fishing, hunting, playing golf and their dog- Minka.

Captain Fornoff is survived by his wife- Brittney Van Ness; father- Gregory Fornoff; mother- Patricia Fornoff; sister- Kathryn McMullin; grandparents- Phyllis and Jack Matthews; aunt- Kathleen Redmon; uncle- Brian Redmon and cousins- Julianna Redmon, Genevieve Redmon, David Stoltzman, Greg Stoltzman.
