Joseph "Joey" Smith, 40 of Fayette, AL passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at his residence.
Services will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory, Columbus, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Smith was born April 26, 1977, in Albion, NE to Mildred "Lucy" Thornbrough Smith and the late Stennis Smith. He was the former dairy products manager at Winn-Dixie. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandfather- Burl Sellers; grandmother- Robin Sellers; and cousin- Ricky Adkins.
Mr. Smith is survived by his mother- Mildred "Lucy" Thornbrough Smith; siblings- Racheal Smith Hutchins of Columbus, MS, Linda Barnett of Pearl, MS, John Smith of Pearl, MS, James Gibson of Fayette, AL; niece- Natalee Figueredo; nephews- Isaiah Hutchins and Calvin Wooten; aunt- Robin Adkins; and a host of other family members.
