Josephine Barbara Shaw Josephine Barbara Shaw, 76 of Caledonia, MS passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her residence. Visitation was held Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6-8PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services were held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 1PM in Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Shaw was born October 31, 1934 in Liverpool, England to the late Henry and Mary Alice Hannon Rigby. She was a resident of Caledonia, MS for the past 60 years having moved from Liverpool, England. Mrs. Shaw retired as a seamstress with Caledonia Manufacturing after over 25 years of service. She enjoyed needle point, working in her yard, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shaw is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Shaw and daughter, Jackie Shaw. Mrs. Shaw is survived by her son – James Bradley (Mary) Shaw, Caledonia, MS and grandchildren – James B. Shaw, II, Jessica Marie Shaw, Roger D. Poteet, Jr., and Michelle D. Bounds.
