Joshua Walter Stewart, 27, passed away on Friday, November 08, 2019, at his residence in Caledonia.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 5:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00pm from the Funeral Home Chapel. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to be entrusted with final arrangements.

Josh was born February 19, 1992 in Columbus to Jess and Cheryl Stewart. He lived his whole life in the Caledonia area, where he was an avid sportsman. He had an immense passion for hunting, fishing, and all things in the great outdoors. Always at home in the outdoors, he loved animals of all kinds, and was especially fond of his dog "Nikki." He loved sports and athletics and was a fan of his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Described as an "Old Soul" Josh was always fond of talking with older generations and learning from others about life and past experiences. His Big and Caring heart will be missed the most by all those who are left behind.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents: Joe C. and Inez Stewart (Griffin, GA) and Charles Burke; and his two special Uncles Mitch Burke and Joe Stewart.

He is survived by his Parents Jess and Cheryl Stewart; a brother Jake Stewart; his "Mamaw" Myrtle Burke; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family; and his beloved dog "Nikki."
