Joshua Randal Massey, 34 of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2016, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Windle officiating.  Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Massey was born June 25, 1982, to Gerald P. and Elizabeth Reich Massey in Columbus, MS and lived in Columbus his entire life.  He was a member of the Salvation Army church.  Mr. Massey was a self-employed landscaper.  He was preceded in death by his brother – Jonath Noble Massey in 1999, grandmother – Wilda Massey Perkins, grandfather – Sterling Noble Massey, aunt – Debbie Prestridge and uncles – James L. Massey, Raymond D. Massey, and Mike Reich.

Mr. Massey is survived by his parents – Gerald and Elizabeth Massey, Columbus, MS; sons – Braxton Lee Massey and Zachariah Kurt Johnston;  Fiancée – Elyssia Carole Bogan; grandmother – Carolyn Jamison, Fulton, MS; grandfather – Terry Jamison, Fulton, MS; aunts – Margaret (Ron) Fast, Garland, TX and Betty Massey, Columbus, MS.
