Joyce Marie Knight, 66, of Steens, MS passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Trinity Health Care, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, Steens, MS with Bro. Jeff Ruth officiating and Bro. Mel Howton assisting. Lowndes Funeral Home will be directing.

Mrs. Knight was born on June 29, 1954, in Fort Hood, TX to Laura Boman Mason and John E. Mason, Sr. She was involved with Church activities, playing word games on her phone, and enjoyed shopping. Mrs. Knight loved watching her grandchildren play ball and spending time with her family. She worked at Belk and the cleaners for many years. Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her husband- Howard Franklin Knight and sister- Linda Burns.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her daughters- Robin Peacock of Steens, MS and Cynthia (Brandon) Farley; grandchildren- Chais Knight, Tres (Deanna) Peacock, Dylan Peacock, Seth Peacock, Jasmine Farley, Zachary Farley, and Skylar Farley; great-grandchildren- Luke Knight, Aria Peacock,  Adelaide Peacock, Mason Peacock, and Deklan Knight; mother- Laura Boman Mason; father- John E. Mason, Sr.; sisters- Brenda Junkin, Loretta Harper, Frances Perrigin, Rebecca Both, Imogene Towery,  and Judy Lane; brothers- John Mason, and David Mason.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chais Knight, Tres Peacock, Dylan Peacock, Seth Peacock, and Zachary Farley.
