J.P. Robertson, Jr. Jackson Perry "JP" Robertson, Jr., 68, of Steens, MS passed away, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Aurora Australis Nursing Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services for Mr. Robertson will be Saturday, October 30, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, Caledonia, MS with Bro. Tommy Gillon, officiating. Interment will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Robertson was born February 14, 1943 to the late J.P. Robertson, Sr. and Lola Mae Parra Robertson in Steens, MS. He moved back to Steens in 1989 from Atlanta, GA. He worked in the Import/Export business until 2001 when he retired. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robertson is preceded in death by his wife Twila Wallin Robertson and Sister Peggy Ann Robertson. Mr. Robertson is survived by his daughter – Tara "Sissy" Waldon, Clanton, AL, sons - Andrew G. (Dawn) Robertson, New Orleans, LA and John A. (Lorrie) Robertson, II, Riverside, CA, J.P. Robertson, III, Columbus, MS sisters - Dorothy Page, Pascagoula, MS, Carolyn Perry, Columbus, MS, Nancy Waggoner, Carthage, MS, William Robertson, Ridgeland, MS and 8 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Robertson, Andrew Robertson, Jeff McRae, Yogi Waldon, Ty Waldon and Graham Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Robertson, Marty Robertson and Matt Robertson.
